Reflexology

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary manual therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face, or ears correspond with different areas of the body. The use of this technique, by applying gentle pressure to reflex points on the feet, hands, face, or ears, can bring the person to a state of deep relaxation and can stimulate the body’s own healing process. It is a natural therapy that can also facilitate more vital energy, help boost the immune system and create a healthier stronger body and more calm mind.

Benefits of reflexology

Whole body can be benefit by reflexology, especially the nervous system due to connection that has with the reflex points, stimulated by pressure. The reflexology can normalise the heart rate, can lower both, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and pulse rate, boost of energy levels, improve quality of sleep, digestion, and respiration, therefore you feel good about yourself in general and your levels of stress and anxiety are reduced.

The pressure applied to the reflex points in your body, relaxes the organs that correspond to these points. By smoothing blood and energy flow in your system, your nerves calm down, you feel relaxed and your healing process start.

Reflexology offer other positive effects such as relief of migraines and headaches, reduction of body pains and inflammation, reduction of kidney problems. It helps in lowering blood sugar levers and improves your overall digestive health. It is also good for thyroid and gall bladder issues as well.
